| Abstract:The paper advocates that extending information service area is urgent for college and university libraries to conform to the trend of the times, to meet the social information needs and to enhance libraries’ own development abilities. It expounds the necessity and feasibility for extending college and university library information service area and also discusses the effective ways and specific measures. |
