| Health Information Literacy Should Become the Critical Point of Health Literacy Promotion for the Chinese Public |

| Abstract:By analyzing lessons and experiences of the biased research methods and contents of health information literacy (HIL)abroad and therefore carrying out health information literacy theory and practice research, combined with the current status of China’s public health literacy and domestic problems in health literacy research, the paper points out that a deep understanding of health literacy connotation, breaking through the limitations of basic health knowledge and skills in health literacy research and putting HIL into public health literacy intervention research are of great feasibility and necessity. |
