| Discussion on Information Commons（IC）in the College and University Libraries and Information Literacy Education |

| Abstract:The paper introduces the characteristics of utilizing information commons(IC) to carry out information literacy education in college and university libraries,points out that the environment of information commons can provide the best places for information literacy education.It is not only of very important significance for supporting lifelong learning and realizing the aim of information literacy education,but also realizes "general education" for college and university students. |
