| Abstract:The paper introduces the current situation of subject librarian system both at home and abroad, elaborates the background, the meaning and the role of constructing this system in college and university libraries, meanwhile,discusses the responsibilities and capabilities that subject librarian should have, points out that the subject librarian system has become an importent measure in the college and university library service innovation. |
