| Abstract:The paper expounds the connotation and necessity of characteristic construction of hospital libraries. It discusses the characteristic construction from collection, service, staff and environment,etc. The collection includes the construction of characteristic collection system, the development of special database,cyber sources collectionand so on; the service includes subject, personalized, humanization service; to personnel, environment construction also suggested. |
