The paper introduces the connotation and characteristics of MOOCs, analyzes the influence of their development on medical information retrieval courses in colleges and universities, and proposes countermeasures for the teaching of the medical information retrieval course in the new era, so as to provide reference for the innovation of the medical information retrieval course and enhancement of the teaching level.
