The paper expounds on the connotation of health information literacy, constituent elements and evaluation index system. It investigates and understands the usage of WeChat and the current situation of the health information literacy and ability of college students with questionnaires, including health information recognition, acquirement, evaluation, application, information morality and other aspects, and compares between scores of various dimensional abilities, based on which it sets forward targeting recommendations.
