The paper introduces the Hyper-converged Infrastructure(HCI) technology and application scenarios of modernized data centers of the medical industry, analyzes the current status and difficulties confronting the current building of informatization and feasibility of the HCI application of The Third People's Hospital of Kunming, expatiates on the concrete practices and building achievements, as well as points out that application of the HCI can enhance the security level of information system, improve utilization rate of medical resources and reduce costs.
