The paper collects foreign literature on medical informatics published by Chinese authors during 2008-2017 from the database of Web of Science, and conducts bibliometrics analysis in four aspects such as annual amount of literature, cooperative country, important issuing institution and distribution of source journals. It conducts clustering of high-frequency keywords and then visual analysis of such keywords by Ucinet to generalize top 6 hotspots in foreign literature on medical informatics study over the past decade in China.
