The paper studies three kinds of linkage between data repository and journals in data publishing, summarizes two ways to realize the linkage, that is, a dynamic linkage based on auto communication mechanism and a static one built on identifier submission, and then conducts comparative analysis on these two ways. Finally, it proposes consideration on realizing the linkage of data repository and journals further.
