The paper introduces the concept of data literacy, discusses the cultivating mode of data literacy for medical students under the background of big data from the aspects of teaching objectives, methods and processes, points out that this mode is helpful to improve the ability of data analysis and mining, establish data awareness and data ethics, and improve data literacy of medical students.
