The paper analyzes the existing problems in the classroom teaching of literature retrieval in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) specialty, puts forward the aim of cultivating the core competence of TCM specialty as moral responsibility and learning literacy, clinical reasoning and clinical skills, classic succession and scientific research innovation, expounds the reform plan of literature retrieval classroom teaching based on the cultivation of professional core competence.
