The paper expounds the operation mode, function application, difficulties and challenges of Internet hospitals in China in the context of COVID-19 epidemic and puts forward some suggestions, including providing medical guidance services supported by technology, and supporting doctors' flexible use of working hours; integrating Internet hospitals into the system of improving the prevention, control and treatment of major epidemic diseases; establishing Internet medical service supervision platform and Internet hospital supervision standard by all provinces as soon as possible.
