The paper analyzes the new requirements of the rapid development of digital age and the new generation of information technology on the training of high-level medical information talents in China. By comparing the development status of medical information talent training in foreign countries, it discusses the existing problems in China, and puts forward some suggestions on the construction of the training system of high-level medical information talents in China, including the establishment of a cooperative training system among the state, society, colleges and institutions, the improvement of the overall quality and standardization of talent training with discipline construction as the orientation, the improvement of career development design, the construction of scientific and standardized talent evaluation, etc.
