The paper introduces the definition of Advance Directive (AD) and Advance Care Planning (ACP), analyzes the practice situation of web-based ACP in the United States, and puts forward some suggestions for the practice of web-based ACP in China, including highlighting the process of empowering individuals and agents to make informed decisions, taking into account the characteristics of information acquisition and utilization of vulnerable groups, taking users’ individual needs as the core, etc.
