The paper introduces the definition and characteristics of Virtual Reality (VR) technology, expounds the current situation and necessity of VR technology application in libraries of medical universities and colleges, and puts forward some suggestions, including innovating service mode, planning resources scientifically, constructing a virtual space system, etc.
