The paper introduces the current situation of monitoring signs of chronic diseases and the role of the internet of things (IoT) in monitoring signs of chronic diseases, elaborates the method of IoT technology in collecting physical sign data of patients with chronic diseases, the algorithm of artificial intelligence (AI) processing physical sign data, analyzes the security issues of medical data and puts forward the prospect.
