The paper introduces the problems that occurred in development process of RHIO in United States, including financial support, technology, patient privacy information processing, communication and coordination scarcity among medical institutes, unsynchonized software facilities, etc; furthermore, it analyzes the causes and provides proposals for developing regional medical informatization of China, as structuring long-term strategy plans and concrete measures, preparing enough finance, efficient management, comprehensive health care and legal problem solving program, the adaptive capability to changeable environment, etc.
