Taking Shanxi Medical University as an example, the paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of teachers’ consciousness of intellectual property rights (IPR)protection in local medical and pharmaceutical universities, discusses the problems about IPR management and protection work in local medical and pharmaceutical universities, elaborates the evaluations and suggestions of teachers to the current situation of university IPR protection.
