The paper analyzes international and domestic development of medical information retrieval tools, discusses the quality evaluation index and measures,puts forward the development tendency for the retrieval tools and their quality evaluation, namely, focusing on interaction and intelligence, combination between qualitative investigation and quantitative study, joint operation and distinguishing features.
