Abstract:The paper carries out data collection and statistical analysis on collection structure and user reading history of Chinese print literatures in library of Capital Medical University from 2004 to 2008, the datas are classified into five categories based on subjects and their circulation quantity, circulation ratios are compared. It reveals that quantity of storage and circulation of the biomedical literatures is at the top rank, which corresponds with the subject characteristic of medical colleges and universities. Besides, the paper analyzes every latent factors that might influence the circulation quality, circulation ratio of the five subjects’ literatures and analyzes the decreasing reasons of print literature utilization for guiding library literature collection.
