By choosing Chinese and foreign-language literatures on multiple myeloma from Chinese Biomedical Literature Database network edition and Medline network edition (2003～2007) as data sources,the paper analyzes the distributions using bibliometrics method on years, journals, disciplines, subjects and countries. Based on the above analysis, the current research status and tendency on the multiple myeloma and related areas are discussed for offering meaningful reference for basic and clinical research.
