With detailed analysis on the features of Wiki, the paper discusses the feasibility and necessity for adopting it into library work. It expounds Wiki’s application prospects and facing problems from four aspects: union cataloging, specific topics database construction, virtual reference service, information communicating and knowledge sharing among librarians, in order to promote integration of Wiki into library information service work, improve service modes and levels.
