Abstract:The paper takes questionnaire survey for medical students of Guangxi Medical University to get well known about the status of their reading psychology and tendency as well as the relationship between medical students’ reading and the library from the following aspects: the aim, types, time, quantity, book resources of extracurricular reading.By comparing reading psychology and actual reading behavior of medical students, it finds out the main factors which affect extracurricular reading and then proposes improving advices, so as to provide reference for library construction and medical humanity education.
