SinoMed is a new professional literature and information service system based on Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM). Taking the current existing users of SinoMed as survey objects, the paper carries out investigation from the aspects of retrieval requests, retrieval behaviors and retrieval effects, so as to grasp the variation of users’ demands and provide a reference basis for the function perfection and future development of SinoMed.
