Against emerging problems among staffs in the information technology department of libraries under new situation for coming informatization, digitalization and networking, the paper proposes countermeasures on promoting staffs literacy and advices on talents cultivation, including carrying out relevant training and continuing education, improving library social status, intensifying curriculum system reformation and setting up competitive mechanism.
