Taking information clustering development as point of view, the paper introduces the concept and types of the information clustering, analyzes the necessity and existing problems, elaborates the competitive advantage. It is aimed at promoting a information resources system composed by all types of libraries so as to produce clustering advantages and solve current facing problems in the sustainable development of library.
