The paper introduces the concept of evidence-based medicine（EBM）, proposes several strategies for deepening information service in medical libraries,promoting development and perfection of EBM,including launching literature retrieval training, developing special service, cultivating compound talents,perfecting service infrastructure, hiring medical staffs to perform as information experts,establishing EBM information network navigation page，etc.
