The paper selects data resources from China Biomedical Literature Database (CBM)and Chinese Medical Citation Index Database (CMCI), analyzes the numbers,regional distribution and the first author affiliation of the papers published by Zhejiang authors in six core pediatric journals from 2005 to 2009. We could from side to know the pediatrics development situation in Zhejiang province, the results show that the development of pediatric branches keeps basic balance, but scientific researches in different institutions and different regions are not balanced.
