Taking the demand status of Chinese medicine ancient book resources by teachers and students in related traditional Chinese medicine colleges and universities into account, the paper points out that library should handle correctly the relationship between utilization and protection of the ancient book resources, discusses the practical significance for activating ancient book resources from a subject knowledge service angle, meanwhile, proposes several concrete implementation measures.
