Starting from the related institutes which studies and formulates health information standards, including International Organization for Standardization (ISO), The European Committee for Standardization (CEN), China EHR Steering Committee, China National Institute of Standardization，etc.The paper introduces the formulating and developing situation of health information standards, puts forward some suggestions according to the existing problems in health information standardization in China.
