The paper introduces the necessity, purpose and significance of constructing key specialty of traditional Chinese medicine, focuses on significance and advantages of constructing its network platform, proposes several suggestions on guiding its construction. Developing key specialty of traditional Chinese medicine is the basis for traditional Chinese medicine hospitals promoting treatment standards and enlarging the dignity, the construction of network platform is helpful for win-win combination among specialties and advancing the overall development of traditional Chinese medicine industry.
