The paper briefly introduces the current exploration and utilization situation of dissertation database domestic and international, covering master and PhD degree. Based on the analysis of doctor and master dissertations of Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, it elaborates the exploration and utilization of dissertations under network environment from following aspects: necessity, constructing basis, constructing contents and constructing methods.
