The paper analyzes and summarizes the nonstandard description status of author's organization in CBM database. According to the existing standard of author's organization description, an automatic checking program for nonstandard description data is developed. The result shows that this program greatly improves the working efficiency, at the same time it guarantees higher checking accuracy, so it is helpful to enhance the standardization level of organization data in CBM.
