The realization of cloud computing brings stronger computing capability, lower fees, and human-oriented services, so it is more suitable to be applied in modern digital library construction. The paper introduces the relational concepts of cloud computing, generalizes the technical characteristics of cloud computing, discusses the application of cloud computing in modern college and university digital libraries construction.
