Based on the investigation data of informatization construction current situation of 2 250 traditional Chinese medicine hospitals in China in 2010, the paper analyzes four basic aspects, including the utilization of information system in traditional Chinese medicine hospitals, the construction of informatization infrastructures, informatization professional staffs and the funds of informatization construction. It proposes some policy recommendations from the following aspects: solving the uneven regional development of information construction level, strengthening the training of informatization professionals, enlarging funding investment and policies support to informatization construction, etc.
