Digital reference service system is the core content of library construction under network environment. The paper analyzes the development trend and existing problems of current digital reference service, based on web technology theory, it puts forward a distributed intelligent digital reference service system, which is practical and relatively perfect in function, it introduces the system design and implementation method combined with Agent theory.
