The paper introduces the connotation of digital rights management (DRM), expounds the levels of DRM system in digital libraries as well as e-book service mode, points out that DRM system might limit users' reading. Digital library should pay attention to eliminate the restrictions and support users′ cross-platform reading, as last it proposes copyrights management strategies for self-constructed digital resources in libraries，they are also suitable for medical digital libraries.
