Collecting data from Chinese Academic Journal Comprehensive Citation Report (2008-2010), the paper discusses the current situation of general medical journals in Zhejiang province by analyzing the indicators including total citation frequency, influence factors, average of references,H index and so on, and compares with general medical journals outside Zhejiang province in China mainland The result shows that the general medical journals in Zhejiang province have made great progress in the recent years, but the bibliometrics indicators are behind other regions in China mainland, further efforts are essential
