Collecting papers published by 21 grade A class three traditional Chinese medicine hospitals from 2004-2010, which have strong research capabilities, the paper carries out statistical analysis from the following aspects: first author distribution, core journal distribution, fund paper status, total citation, discipline classification and so on, with aims of providing reference for traditional Chinese medicine management agencies to understand the scientific level and competitiveness of traditional Chinese medicine institutions in China
