The paper describes the current application situations of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology in libraries, summarizes three major problems of utilizing RFID technology in small and medium libraries and then proposes solutions, including price problem, standard problem and book′s security problem,in order to promote the popularization of RFID technology in small and medium libraries
