The paper introduces the significance of constructing children refractive parameters database. According to large-scale epidemiological survey in primary school and middle school in Shanghai area, epidemiological data in hospitals, the situation of children in the follow-up, refractive parameters data is obtained and the database platform is constructed, which includes ophthalmologists′ scientific research platform, patients′ query platform and public education platform.
