Through mining patent information of the seven countries and two organizations, the paper analyzes paclitaxel related patent from the following aspect: regional composition in the word, country (region) distribution which applies in China, overall tendency, regional comparison, applicant composition, IPC composition, etc. It also puts forward countermeasures and advices for paclitaxel patent protection and utilization.
