Taking PACS construction in Danjiangkou First Hospital as an example, the paper introduces PACS construction and maintenance practices from the aspects of overall structure, work station, connection between RIS and HIS, data backup, network construction, etc. It advises that the hospitals should choose proper PACS according to their own situation.
