According to the business requirements of hospitals, the paper proposes the process of online reimbursement approval system. Combined with the practical experiences of workflow and J2EE, hospital reimbursement approval system is conducted based on J2EE structure and JBPM technology. It briefly introduces the current situation of reimbursement approval process, elaborates the concept of workflow, emphasizes on the function design and implementation process, and then makes further prospect on JBPM workflow technology.
