Combined with the book purchasing and bidding work practices of China Medical University Library, the paper introduces how to choose proper book suppliers through bidding documents formulation, assessment criteria formulation and bidding process control. It also points out the issues concerned including inspecting book suppliers, selecting experts and judges reasonably, etc.
