The paper discusses the superiorities of books spot purchasing from the aspects of improving timeliness and arrival rate, reducing mistakenly purchasing rate and enhancing the communication of libraries, proposes the deficiency of books spot purchasing from the aspects of single duplication checking method, difficulty in purchasing quality control, etc. It also formulates corresponding countermeasures to control the quality before purchasing, in purchasing process and after purchasing.
