The paper carries out bibliometric analysis on obstetrics and gynecology literatures included in SCI-Expanded from 2007 to 2011 in Mainland of China from the aspects of publication time, types, publishing journals, authors and institutions, points out that the field of obstetrics and gynecology develops rapidly in the recent years, but there is still a certain gap with the international advanced level.
