Based on the analysis of the connotation, theoretical basis and factors of self-regulated learning, the paper summarizes the characteristics and existing problems of self-regulated learning under network environment, points out that information literacy is a necessary for self-regulated learning in the information era. By the comparison and analysis of information literacy and self-regulated learning, it indicates the similarities, differences as well as the relationships between them.
