Based on the introduction of basic concept and system architecture of electronic medical records (EHR), the paper elaborates the development process of EHR system taking lung cancer as an example, including basic problems, main contents, application objectives, technical features, significance, business process, etc. It also briefly discusses the future development trend of EHR system.
